    New Development
As the company is in the process of implementing a Mechanical and Plumbing Department, we are applying and working towards the following accreditations and regulations:

    Gas and Corgi Regulations

Established for more than 30 years, CORGI is considered the leading authority for information on gas safety issues around the home – and also provides information and support for other trades including plumbing and electrical work.

CORGI was founded in 1970 to protect the public from the dangers of unsafe gas installations. Poorly trained tradesmen can give the industry as a whole a bad name and bad experiences can make people extremely wary when it comes to employing someone to install or repair a gas appliance, so, by maintaining an up-to-date register of qualified gas installers and other trades people, CORGI sets out to promote the core values of professional service and high standards in safety. Consequently, the CORGI badge is now a guarantee of quality and is the standard to look for when employing a tradesman.

    Water Regulations

The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 were introduced in July 1999 in England and Wales, and by 2006 UK water suppliers had considerable experience of their interpretation and enforcement. Defra indicated that a Government review of the Regulations might begin in 2007 and the WRAS Management Committee proposed that suggestions from the water suppliers for alterations and additions to the Regulations should be presented to Defra before the official review commenced.

During 2006 WRAS consulted water suppliers about changes to Schedules 1 and 2 to the Water Fittings Regulations and the Regulations themselves. Based upon this consultation, proposals for changes were circulated to all water suppliers and by November 2006 they were endorsed by the WRAS Technical and Management Committees.
